When emailing me with dismissal information, please carbon copy Teri Black in the office. Sometimes I'm so busy that I don't always have time to check my email before the kids go home. If you cc Teri, she will hand deliver the dismissal changes to me. Her email is [email protected]. Thanks!

Our Halloween Party will be held on Friday, October 31, at 2:00. The children will be wearing costumes so please send your child's costume to school on Friday. Please don't send your child IN his/her costume as we will be changing right before the party. Though I'm not picky about what type of costume you send, I do ask that it be appropriate for school (no guns, fake blood, etc.). The party will last until 3:00 and you are free to take your child home with you when it's over. Come and join us! I'm sure it will be LOTS of fun! Guest teacher
Last week we worked on the sound that short a makes. This week we are working on short o. When reading with your child please take some time to look for short a and short o words. Practice sounding them out together. Write words with these sounds.
It was a FABULOUS day! The kids did a great job and sang their little hearts out! Though I tried to take a picture of each student with his/her guest, some left before I was able to. I am so sorry if your child's picture wasn't taken. It was quite hectic trying to dismiss ALL the kids and ALL the grandparents.
I can't believe that my time here at Kreft is over. I enjoyed being with the children every single day and will miss them very much! They are all such sweet children!
Monday I will start student teaching in sixth grade, it will be a big change. Thank you very much for the wonderful gifts! Mary, Luella's mom, has offered to plan our party and she has everything under control. If you want to go to the meeting, feel free to do so, though the party planning has already been taken care of. I won't be able to attend the meeting as I already have plans.

A new math game is coming home with you child today. It is called Oh No 99! They really enjoyed playing it! The rules are stapled to the front of the game. You will need a deck of cards to play. If you don't have a deck of cards, let us know and we can send a deck home!
Enjoy! Don't forget the fundraiser is due tomorrow, October 10!
