We had a GREAT day today! The play was amazing, and despite the soggy weather, the kids LOVED the Dream Playground. If you haven't been there lately, you should definitely go! A special thank you to those who met us at the playground. You were troopers!! Buddy FUn Day!Believe it or not, Friday, May 3 is Buddy Fun Day. We are still in need of volunteers to work the stations. If you are able to help, please report to the Kreft gym at 12:00 on Friday, May 3, for directions.
We will be eating lunch before Buddy Fun Day so a sack lunch won't be needed. Please be sure to send your child in tennis shoes. Congratulations to Lili Jacobs, our newest Titan of the Month! She was chosen because she is consistently respectful, responsible, and safe. Great Work Lili!
Tomorrow we will be going to the Rose Theater to see Dragons Love Tacos. Weather permitting, we will go to the Dream Playground for lunch and to play. If it's raining after the play, we will NOT go to the playground. If you are unsure whether to meet us there or not, feel free to text me at 402-598-9297. I won't have a decision until about 11:00. If the weather cooperates, parents are welcome to join us at the playground at 11:30.
Please remember to send a sack lunch with your child, unless you requested one from the cafeteria. On Monday, April 15, we had a guest from Hitchcock Nature Center talk with our class about animal adaptations. Ask your child what he/she learned. When showing the class a beaver skin, one student raised her hand and asked, "Did you POACH?" Though the speaker was surprised by the question, she explained that the beaver skin was from a beaver that was killed on the road. One never knows what the kids will say or do! Classroom CelebrationWe will be having a classroom celebration on May 31 at 2:15. All are welcome! More info to come.
It's official! The last day of school for students is Wednesday, June 5. Because this falls on a Wednesday, it will be an early dismissal. Please return the bottom portion of the note indicating whether your child will want a school packed lunch or one from home.
